Although this was marketed as "Woodstock Nation", it was actually recorded at The Kickapoo Creek Rock Festival held on L. David Lewis' farm in Heyworth, Illinois. The dates were May 30-31,1970, Memorial Day weekend. Attendance peaked at 50,000 - 60,000.
Ted Nugent & B. B. King did not play at Woodstock.

On front cover:
Ted Nugent & The Amboy Dukes are listed as "The Dukes"
B. B. King is listed as "B. B."
The Paul Butterfield Blues Band is listed as "Butterfield B.B."
Country Joe & The Fish are listed as "The Fish"
and more.

On track B1, the audience is joining Country Joe McDonald in his famous "Fish Cheer".
